Electric Motors for Fire Pumps
NFPA 20 provides specific requirements for electric drivers for fire pumps. This includes the types of electric motors acceptable for fire pumps, acceptable voltage drop and current limits, along with the normal and stand-by electrical power sources. This seminar will review the relevant parts of the standard and explain some of the practical considerations for meeting them.
Approved for Contractor I, II, III and Waterbased Inspectors.
Each online class has a short quiz at the end of the video. Participants must pass the quiz prior to receiving their CEUs and certificate. Participants have FOUR opportunities to pass the quiz. If the quiz is not passed by the fourth attempt, the participant will be required to purchase the class again and pass the quiz to receive the CEUs and certificate.
